Our role
Honegger is responsible for cleaning the seats, sanitary facilities, changing rooms, fitness and meeting rooms as well as the lounges. In the months when matches are being played the work is covered by a regular cleaning agreement, but outside of the playing season cleaning work is individually commissioned and paid for as and when required. In addition to this, the company also performs window and facade cleaning whenever necessary. Since 2023, Honegger has been using a new Smart Cleaning approach to its cleaning services based on the software tool Soobr, which is used for online checking and confirmation of the work carried out. Thanks to push notifications, employees can react quickly to any issues and ensure that the needs of visitors to the arena are perfectly met.

The MobiliarArena in Gümligen (in the Canton of Bern) is the home of Swiss handball club BSV Bern, which plays in the top Swiss league. In addition to sporting events and training sessions, the arena also hosts business events and conferences. Honegger AG has long been closely associated with the sport of handball – for example, the company co-financed the construction of the MobiliarArena in 2018.
